Welcome to my room! It's like a grocery shop... I'll call it my
Treehouse.
It's called Treehouse because I love children's adventure films so much.
Childhood friends
spend their days in the treehouse, studying maps
of the forest or caves for a distant and strange rumour, bringing the treasures
and props
stored in the treehouse, getting on the bike and ready to go.
whether or not one actually witnesses the existence of the surreal, “believing” itself is a being and a crossing.
For me, the treehouse is a place full of childhood, imagination and courage.
At first I lived a very casual life in this room, there was
a lot of stuff scattered around
from my childhood and there was no sense of beauty or my own style, until one day I fell in love with some film and television works,
and therefore fell in love with the collection of related peripherals, like metal badges,That was probably the beginning of my real collection of strange,
not-so-popular
objects. I also made a conscious effort to exhibit them,
and felt warm and excited in the process. At first I just put all these attractive items in
the bookcase,
and then it was too full to put, so I spent several days rearranging the room,
and since then I feel that this room begins to come alive along with me.
Later on, because I like
stationary and toys,
I collect them little by little, want to make it more and more filled, vivid, as if the map and space can be infinitely expanded from the inside (like a book called <Little, Big> that I really like), every little coner
can create a story. The room itself seems to be
a kind of medium of self-expression.
It feels like a private exhibition, a museum of memories,
a small table for brewing the magic potion of creativity, or the beginning of imagination~
I also felt that arranging and slowly creating was a collage of space! Although in reality, my family still does not quite understand my hoarding and decoration, I call it an island that accidentally drifted into my home, I am an islander who is out of condition ~I think this is
a room suspended in the sea,
when you want to get a breeze,
during the day, feel free to dive in the sea and roam around, and at night is living in the sea,
is really infinite idealism. I also hope that there will be various kinds of small creatures living here, the naive sea monster
and the clever tree spirit
can meet at the same party! For me
the room
is a space that integrates feelings and fantasies,
It is a small bridge connecting the unreachable world of my childhood, a secret base that keeps me warm and alive. Sometimes the thought of what
new members
will be added, what new stories
can happen make me feel like I am breathing, no longer overwhelmed and panicked in the noisy outside world.
